The WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Autonomous Mobile Robotics Collection, by Studica, is the authorized collection for the WorldSkills Autonomous Mobile Robotics Competition in Lyon, France, 10-15 September 2024. This collection includes most of the items in the previous competition collection and has 28 new parts. The biggest change is the new 3D Depth Camera, the 360 Degree LiDAR which will bring the competition to the next level for Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR).

The collection includes everything you will need to complete a full functioning robot that will be able to compete at Lyon 2024. As in the previous, you will be allowed to create 3D printed parts to make any additional parts needed. Includes the VMX Robotics Controller, which can be programmed in Java, C++, Python, ROS, and LabVIEW. This collection also includes electronics, accessories, motors, servos, mounts, U-Channel, mounting plates, flat brackets, irregular brackets, and flat beams. The 125mm All-Terrain Wheel Set includes two left and two right rubber wheels. They have a foam core and therefore do not require air. They grip well on smooth, hard surfaces and are perfect for travel on uneven surfaces where you may have mulch, sand, dirt, or gravel. They are designed and manufactured by Studica to work with the Studica Robotics Building platform and other building sets. The All-Terrain wheels have been tested up to 40kg (88 lbs) using all four wheels.

The Lyon Challenge Elements are used to train for but may not be used for the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Mobile Robotics Competition. More details will be provided in the official Test Project Preview (TP-pre) to be released in C-9 months. Refer to the Mobile Robotics Technical Despription (TD) which will be released on C-12 months which covers all the the skills required to compete.

Designed as a more affordable replacement for the RealSense D435, the Studica 3D Depth Camera provides an accurate high-definition depth-sensing camera for mobile robotics and consumer electronic projects.

The 100mm Slim Mecanum Wheel Set comes with 2 left and 2 right, with steel ball bearings, blue steel frame and black rollers.  The wheel comprised of 12 black rollers and is able to move in any direction. The Multi-Mode Smart Servo 200 rotates at 200RPM. This angular programmable Servo can fill a variety of roles on your robot or project. In standard mode, it operates on a +/- 150-degree range. Using the Studica Smart Robot Servo Programmer (sold separately) the Multi-mode Smart Servo can be configured to run in continuous, standard, and custom angular mode.
