The Cube Orange+ is an advanced, open-source autopilot system and flight controller produced by CubePilot (Hex Technology), designed for professional drones, unmanned vehicles, and robotics platforms. It is a performance-enhanced and NDAA-compliant upgrade to the original Cube Orange, known previously as Pixhawk 2.1.

The Cube Orange+ features a powerful processor and triple-redundant sensors for high reliability in mission-critical applications.

Processor: Equipped with a high-performance STM32H757 dual-core processor (Cortex M7 at 400MHz and Cortex M4 at 200MHz) for faster computations.
Sensors: Features a triple-redundant Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) system, including accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers. Two IMUs are vibration-isolated and temperature-controlled by onboard heaters for optimal performance in varying conditions.
ADS-B Receiver: The standard set includes an ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast) carrier board with an integrated 1090MHz receiver from uAvionix. This allows the autopilot to receive location and altitude information from nearby manned aircraft for enhanced situational awareness and automatic collision avoidance.
Compatibility & I/O:
- Compatible with ArduPilot and PX4 open-source firmware.
- Offers 14 PWM servo outputs, 5 general-purpose serial ports (UART), 2 CAN bus interfaces, and 2 I2C ports.
- Features a standard 80-pin DF17 connector for compatibility with all Cube carrier boards, allowing for flexible, plug-and-play integration with various peripherals and custom designs.
Compliance: The system is NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) compliant and listed on the Blue UAS Framework, making it approved for U.S. government purchase and operation.

Mini Set: A compact version that pairs the Cube Orange+ module with a smaller mini carrier board, ideal for small to medium-sized drones where space is a concern.
