    WorldSkills Autonomous Mobile Robotics Training, 15 to 19 January, Jamaica

    WorldSkills Jamaica and Studica Robotics are inviting you to a full week of Autonomous Mobile Robotics training with an exciting Jamaican experience.

    The training is for new teams and those preparing for Lyon 2024. Invitation is open to one expert; however, experts can bring a team. Maximum is 3 people to one kit.

    We can accommodate 25 people, on a first come first serve basis, for the training. You can bring a spouse or guest that may not participate in the training but can enjoy all that the hotel and Jamaica have to offer. Spouses and guests are invited to participate at the welcome and farewell dinner, as well as the other additional activities.

    • Plan to arrive on Sunday 14 January and Depart Saturday 20 January. You will be responsible for booking your own flights.

    • Training and accommodation will take place at the Cardiff Hotel & Spa, Ocho Rios, Jamaica

    • Package prices:
      • Package cost for 1 person in a room attending training - $2,000USD
      • Package cost for 2 persons in a room, with both attending the training -$3,382USD
      • Package cost for 2 persons in a room, with only 1 attending the training - $2,300USD
      • Cost for 1 person in a room arriving early or leaving late, outside of the 14 to 20 January - $153USD per night.
      • Cost for 2 persons in a room arriving early or leaving late, outside of the 14 to 20 January - $203USD per night
      • Six nights, checking in 14th January and departing 20th.
      • These rates include breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for each day. In addition, the package includes other activities to facilitate the synergy, development and cultural exchange of the experts and competitors.
      • Package registrations will be handled by WorldSkills Jamaica secretariat. A registration form will be provided to interested attendees. In addition, we will make available a link to the hotel reservations office such that any other special arrangement, outside of the packages, can be made.
    • Kit options:
      • Each attendee and/or team has the option to purchase and keep one kit that will be used in the training and to build their robot. Kit may be purchased from Studica.
      • Alternatively, WorldSkills Jamaica will make available one kit to work on. This will remain the property of WorldSkills Jamaica
