    ADSB Carrier Board

An ADS-B carrier board is a specialized main circuit board for drone autopilots that integrates an Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) receiver (and sometimes a transceiver) to enhance aviation safety. It is a standard component in modern flight controller ecosystems like the CubePilot/Pixhawk series.

    MFR Part #: HX4-06105
    $164.01
    Key Features and Functionality
    • Integrated ADS-B Receiver: The primary feature is a built-in 1090MHz ADS-B In receiver, typically from uAvionix. This allows the drone's system to receive position, altitude, speed, and ID data from nearby manned aircraft that are broadcasting on the ADS-B Out system.
    • Enhanced Situational Awareness: The information gathered is displayed on the pilot's connected ground control station (e.g., Mission Planner), providing the operator with a real-time view of surrounding air traffic.
    • Automatic Avoidance: When configured within the flight software (like ArduPilot or PX4), the system can be set to automatically perform avoidance maneuvers if a potential collision with an ADS-B Out-equipped aircraft is detected within a predefined exclusion zone.
    • Compatibility: These carrier boards are designed with a standard 80-pin DF17 connector to be compatible with the various Cube Autopilot modules (Cube Orange, Cube Black, Cube Blue, etc.), allowing users to easily swap flight controllers or carrier boards as needed.
    • Standard Component: The ADS-B In receiver is now a standard feature integrated into the current version of the Cube standard carrier board, replacing older versions that required an external module.
