The Studica Multi-Mode Smart Servo features all-steel gears and large amounts of torque. This angular programmable Servo can fill a variety of roles on your robot or project. In standard mode, it operates on a +/- 150-degree range. Using the Studica Smart Robot Servo Programmer (sold separately) the Multi-mode Smart Servo can be configured to run in continuous, standard, and custom angular mode. In continuous rotation mode, the servo will have proportional speed control based on the PWM signal that you send with your servo controller.
The Servo Horn 25T is made of anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum and is used with the Multi-Mode Smart Servo (75002) and the Studica building structure.

The Studica Flat Beam is 3mm thick and 8mm wide. As with the other Studica Robotics building components, it has the common hole pattern which makes it easy to connect to other structure with very little or no additional machining required. You can easily connect to other channel, extrusions, bushings, bearing, mounting brackets and more so you can quickly assemble and disassemble robots and automated systems.
The IR Distance Sensor GP2Y0A21YK0F uses a beam of infrared light to reflect off an object to measure its distance. Because it uses triangulation of the beam of light to calculate the distance, it is able to provide consistent and reliable readings which are less sensitive to temperature variation or the object’s reflectivity. The sensor outputs an analog voltage corresponding to the distance of the object, and can easily be read using an inexpensive analog to digital converter (ADC) chip.
