Studica Celebrates 35 Years in Business -Thursday, October 15, 2020
Studica is proud to celebrate its 35th business anniversary. Observing a need to help schools integrate technology used in industry into their classrooms, Frank Nanfara and Tony Uccello founded the company in 1985. The plan was to bring CNC, CAM, and CAD software to schools in the United States and Canada. Uniting technology with education is the vision. Studica has grown substantially over the years and now has offices in the United States and Canada with affiliates around the world. Today Studica serves not only the education market, but also offers exciting solutions for industry, competitions, and the robotics market.
Studica Limited is now a Global Partner with WorldSkills International. Studica will support competitors of the WorldSkills Mobile Robotics Competitions until 2021 by supplying robotics kits to all competing teams. Studica pledges to enhance the WorldSkills Mobile Robotics Component Collection based on this year’s event and to continually improve this offering to best serve competitors. The collection includes all required components that contestants must have in order to train and compete in the Mobile Robotics skill competition.
