The IR Distance Sensor GP2Y0A21YK0F uses a beam of infrared light to reflect off an object to measure its distance. Because it uses triangulation of the beam of light to calculate the distance, it is able to provide consistent and reliable readings which are less sensitive to temperature variation or the object’s reflectivity. The sensor outputs an analog voltage corresponding to the distance of the object, and can easily be read using an inexpensive analog to digital converter (ADC) chip.

The Rack and Pinion D Shaft Set (2 Pack) includes 2 Racks, 2 Pinions, and 4 Glides. The rack hole pattern matches that of the channel, flat beams, square beams and flat brackets so it's easy to mount on the Studica structure. the rack and the glides are made of POM Plastic providing high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. The pinion has a 6mm D shaft hub, 25.52mm addendum circle diameter and is made of 6061-T6 Aluminum.
The WorldSkills Lyon Autonomous Mobile Robotics Collection, by Studica, was the authorized collection for the WorldSkills Autonomous Mobile Robotics Competition in Lyon, France. This collection includes most of the items in the previous competition collection and has 28 new parts. The biggest change is the new 3D Depth Camera, the T-Mini Lidar which will bring the competition to the next level for Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR).
The collection includes everything you will need to complete a full functioning robot that will be able to compete at Lyon 2024. As in the previous, you will be allowed to create 3D printed parts to make any additional parts needed. Includes the VMX Robotics Controller, which can be programmed in Java, C++, Python, ROS, and LabVIEW. This collection also includes electronics, accessories, motors, servos, mounts, U-Channel, mounting plates, flat brackets, irregular brackets, and flat beams. You'll also find gears, sprockets, pulleys, belts, axles, slides, rack & pinion, wheels, bushings, bearings, coupling, collars, spacers, screws, nuts, and standoffs. (Over 1600 components).

The Lyon Fruit and Vegetable Kit can be used to train for the Lyon 2024 Competition where on days 1 and 2 various autonomous mobile robot skills will be assessed. There are 10 fruits and vegetables that are at a one-to-one scale to the real produce. Note these may or may not be used in the competition.
